Fortuna Quartet invited me in their home at Royal College of Music London for two one-hour sessions consisting of a live performance shooting and a promotional group picture/individual headshot session.

This page only presents the pictures from the live performance in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall. And what a gorgeous venue that is. With its warm lights and warm tones coming from the organ, every picture takes a very cinematic turn.

The four musicians of the quartet may be young, but they are extremely serious about their art and very talented. Spend a few minutes with them and you’ll also notice they love having fun and a good laugh. It is also very clear from the numerous smiles and looks that they are a very close group of friends. This is what I wanted to capture from this session - the seriousness, the friendship, the laughs.
